You have a very exciting opportunity to purchase a very desirable and sought after 1991 Westfield SE in gleaming Ferrari ‘Rosso Corsa’ red with contrasting grey interior and with genuine ultra low mileage of only 7,700 miles!!
Registered in the UK on 11 April 1991 on a ‘Q’ plate, we have just completed a comprehensive recommissioning of this vehicle after a long period in heated storage at the previous owners residence. All work was carried out at our Surrey workshops and we have a full and detailed photographic portfolio of the work carried out which will be included with the sale. The car has been prepared with a dual purpose in mind, mild mannered and road legal or fast and furious track day weapon! Both are raw driving machines with split personalities, docile one moment, ferocious the next, each with an unsettling surfeit of power over traction........the choice is yours.
The car is in superb condition and as far as I know has been free from any accident damage repairs (the car is totally clear on the HPI register). The mileage of 7,700 is correct and confirmed via the National Mileage Register, and comes with a comprehensive history, original factory specification, invoices and details on every part on the vehicle.
The engine is the bullet proof 1660cc X-Flow unit, which was originally built and supplied by Burton Power Products, this is a very high specification engine with the following modifications carried out: original machined and bored 711M type block, pocketed Powermax pistons, duplex timing gear set, BLF22 fast road camshaft, trufrided, ground and fully balance crankshaft, stage 2 ported and polished cylinder head, heavy duty double valve springs, twin Weber 40DCOE carburetors with MAG linkages, K&N filters, 4 branch manifold, high pressure oil pump, Pacet oil cooler, electric cooling fan, Mitsuba electric fuel pump, uprated race/rally distributor, the engine is very powerful and sounds fantastic and has been on the dyno with a printout indicating 110bhp.There are no nasty knocks or rattles, water or oil leaks, the engine has just been fully recommissioned and fully serviced including all fluids. The engine is mated to a 5-speed ‘Type 9’ gearbox with RS2000 rear axle with a 3.54:1 ratio, which makes it pretty lively especially as it weighs less than 600kg!
The car has a set of genuine, unmarked 4- spoke ‘Revolution’ alloy wheels that have just been professionally refurbished, and are in superb as new condition with brand new 185/60/13 Yokohama A539 tyre all round, a perfect compromise for road or track.
The exterior bodywork and underneath of the car are immaculate, we have just resprayed the whole shell in a fresh coat of Ferrari ‘Rosso Corsa’ base coat and ‘ICI’ high solids laqueur, so no more faded fiberglass paintwork in the future. The metallic gold decals which enhance the looks of the car are fully removable if not to your taste. The main chassis is in superb condition, totally rust free, this car really is a show winner and is priced accordingly, so please no dreamers. It’s certainly not the usual shabby fiberglass cracked and faded 22 year-old Westfield you usually find, I think you would have a hard time finding another one in this virtually ‘as new’ condition. The interior is in excellent condition throughout, the seats can easily be changed for any desired type according to your build and height as there are numerous options readily available for these cars. The vehicle benefits from a number of additional features including, fully adjustable Spax suspension, Aeroquip brake hoses, RAC specification roll bar, Britax 4-point harnesses, airhorns, full tonneau and wet weather covers which can be easily stored away in the lockable boot area, it also has the rare luxury of a fully working heater.
This car is totally stunning with a genuine ultra low mileage and in showroom condition throughout. These are extremely sought after cars and genuine quality examples are commanding exceptionally high prices with enthusiasts.
