Genuine World War II 1944 Willy's Jeep.
Totally Restored – Zero Corrosion.
Genuine World War II, 1944 Willys Jeep which has been the subject of a total nut & bolt restoration by ourselves.
This Jeep is the genuine article and saw action in Asia at the Battle of Bataan and Battle of Mindanao in the Philippines.
The Willys is totally rust free and has been fully restored from the tub up and throughout including the chassis – there is ZERO corrosion. She starts instantly 'on the floor button' and drives perfectly.
The engine (which runs on unleaded) has been fully rebuilt including new big ends, rebored with new pistons, new rings, re-ground crank, NOS (new old stock) 12v dynamo, NOS voltage regulator, NOS starter motor - all ancillary’s are either fully rebuilt or are NOS including the exhaust system which is new. This Jeep has also been converted to 12V to increase reliability.
The gearbox has also been totally rebuilt as have the 2WD/4WD transfer and the high and low range boxes both of which are operating properly and a new clutch (updated modern type) has been fitted which is very light and progressive in operation.
Both the front and rear axles have been fully rebuilt with new bearings, all bushes, links have been replaced and all of the wheel bearings are new. All elements of the braking system have either been refurbished or replaced with NOS parts and the road tyres are brand new all round.
We have also fitted a new steering box and replaced all of the bushes so there is zero play in the steering and we have rebuilt or replaced with NOS all of the suspension parts.
Finally, the wiring loom is new old stock so there won’t be any electrical gremlins.
It needs absolutely nothing other than running in!
