Sellers original description:
1963 Austin Healey 3000.
Mk 11 - BJ7.
A UK market RHD car.
Originally registered in Bournemouth.
I have owned this Healey for 11 years.
Over the last three years it has undergone a nut and bolt restoration.
No expense has been spared to make this one of the best examples in the UK.
I have invoices totaling over £60,000 spent on the car.
Unfortunately I am selling my Healey due to personal circumstances.
As these pictures show, the car has had a bare metal respray of the highest possible quality with particular attention to panel fit.
The interior has been completely re trimmed.
The Wire wheels have been rebuilt and colour coded to the car.
And a new hood has been fitted.
The Dials have been refurbished.
Fully rebuilt Engine with high compression pistons, new con rods.
Alloy fast road Head (unleaded fuel) and high lift camshaft.
All fully balanced with a lightened Flywheel.
Big bore Exhaust and totally re wired.
Here you can see the fully reconditioned Gearbox and Overdrive and rear Axle.
The car has new Independent Suspension with uprated Anti-roll bar and new bushes throughout.
Every part down to the nuts and bolts have been refurbished or renewed as required.
Consequently the car now drives every bit as well as it looks.
I have owned Healeys for over 25 years and can say that I have only seen a handful of them in existence that compare to this one.
