1957 Chevrolet Bel Air V8 Manual 3 Speed "Stick on the Tree"

Readvertised with some Brand New Finishing Touches and Now Completed and Ready for the Summer

Having just completed a 5 year nut and bolt restoration, I reluctantly offer for Sale my 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 Door Sedan. I'l try and state as much as possible but the list and what I have done in the past 5 years is endless.

Body/Exterior:

The Body has had a bare metal respray in Metallic Candy Red and White, all body panels are original and straight, this is the first respray the car has ever had so the paint is completely ripple free and looks stunni,ng. Having spent over £18000 in new parts the Chevy has had:

NEW Glass, Window Rubbers, Headlights, Bevels, Chrome, Door Rubbers, Handles, Locks, Rear Bumper, etc.

Brand New 17" Boyd Coddington Chrome Wheels and Tyres.

Interior:

The Interior was completely stripped and the seats and door cards sent away for Brand New Tuck and Roll Red and Cream Leather with embroided Chevrolet logos, Brand New Red Carpets, New Clocks, Sony X plode amp and Ipod Connection Stereo System, Steering Wheel, Headlining etc. Lined Boot interior in Red Leather and New Black Carpet

Engine:

The engine is a original 1957 v8 283 I completely stripped the engine down the block was pressure tested before being rebored to 30+ and then fitted with new the following parts:
Pistons
Piston rings
Shell end bearing
Main bearings
Timing chain & pulleys
Camshaft followers
New crankshaft pulley

I then sourced the original 283 heads which were fitted on the 1957 bel air which I found on good old eBay by a person who actually specialised in blue printing Chevy V8 engines and he had a pair which where totally rebuilt by him which included new valves and springs and collars. So I added to this and bought new rockers.

The next step was to try and buy New rocker covers I think this was the hardest thing to find I spent many hours just finding these because the original 57 heads are VERY rare so I ended up actually buying from state side which cost a small fortune so I ended up buying a finned set as well which were in a right state but all the hard work to put them right was worth it.

Then I completed the assembly of the engine with all the best parts I could source the pictures speak for themself. This alone took over 14 months to source and fit in the Bel Air.

I have just fitted this Month a Brand New Holley 600 CFM 4 Barrel Carb and New Viking Inlet Manifold.

The Engine has a full dress Kit including, Mini Torque Starter Motor, Aluiminium High Polished Radiator, Chrome Alternator, Battery, COMPLETE BRAND NEW WIRING LOOM and all connected to a Full Magnaflow Stainless Exhaust System

Summary:

I have covered about 100 Miles since the restoration completion, just a couple of local weddings.

This Car is a fantastic investment and is well worth viewing, it hasn't been seen yet on the American Car Circuit but where ever I have driven it locally people just stop and look, a real head turner.
