One owner from 1968 to 2006 when it was bought by a restoration specialist who over the past few years has brought it up to it's current immaculate condition, although body was in good condition to start with
The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt (although it had only done 60k miles to that point) and runs, drives, starts, stops as it should. It is all original and has drum brakes all round - no nasty additions to inside or outside, it's as you would have bought one in 1968
Interior re-trimmed in the original vinyl and new carpets fitted - original headlining in perfect condition
The whole car has zero body issues and is in superb condition for a 2 year old car - let alone one 45 years old!
It runs like a dream and everything works with new headlights and perfect chrome bumpers
The center console you see in the photos is not as original car would have been, consequently has not been fitted but will be available with the car to whoever buys it.
As it is the desirable 2-door, it could be used to create a mint Mexico/ Lotus lookalike but as she's so original that seems a shame - however that would probably add another £10k to it's value.
