Sports dials consisting of; tachometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, ammeter, water temperature and turbo boost gauge. Dealer fitted accessories include Alpine Stereo with flat speakers.

EXTERIOR:

The fantastically extrovert exterior design of this Integrale is beautifully complimented by the Monza Red paintwork (code 155) which has a rich deep shine and a flawless uniform finish. All panels are original with perfect gaps, and the car is structurally excellent with no rust evident. There is some micro blistering to the paint on the outer most edges of the inner rear arches, however this is absolutely minimal and in no way detracts from the stunning appearance of this car. The bottom side skirts have minor stone chips. The factory standard Solar Control Glazing is all original and in excellent condition, along with completely undamaged lights and remarkably well preserved trim and badgework. The body coloured roofline moulding and aluminium fuel cap denote the Evoluzione II, along with air intake grilles on the front mudguards. The engine bay is delightfully standard and unspoiled, with all manufacturer plates and stickers still present. Perfect first time from Lancia, and pleasingly unchanged.

INTERIOR:

The interior style of this rally bred machine unreservedly echoes its sporting prowess, with the hugely figure hugging Recaro front seats and the perfectly positioned leather Momo Corse steering wheel, leaving the driver in no doubt of this cars motorsport pedigree. The seats are remarkably free from wear and are upholstered in Beige Alcantara with matching door cards and headlining. The trim has remained incredibly clean and undamaged, although there is some very light bobbling to the lower driver’s seat bolster nearest the door. The carpets are still protected by the Main Dealer velour mats with stitched branding. The leather to the steering wheel still retains the showroom fresh intricate natural markings, commensurate with the ultra-low mileage this car has covered. All the sports instrumentation functions correctly and displays healthy readings to delight and inspire confidence. Italian flare in abundance with this fastidiously preserved interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:

The second Evoluzione incarnation of the Delta HF Integrale featured an updated version of the 1995cc 16 valve turbo engine with a revised Garrett Turbocharger and Marelli integrated engine control system, amongst other subtle modifications producing 212BHP and 232ib-ft torque at just 2500rpm. The basic engine structure remained largely unchanged but the most notable visual alteration is the red painted cylinder head. The power delivery of this example is wonderfully explosive and thrill inducing, exactly as Lancia intended. A top speed of 137mph is achieved whilst 0-62 is dealt with in just 5.7 seconds. The 5-speed gearbox is light and exact throughout changes and is a joy to operate.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES:

Standard Integrale Evolution 2 light alloy wheels are immaculate and shod in quality 205/45/ZR16 tyres retaining excellent tread all round. The 6-sensor ABS system incorporating 281mm self-ventilated front discs and 251mm rear discs bring the car up to a prompt and assured halt.

HISTORY FILE:

This original UK example was registered new on 5th September 1993 by Lancia Main Dealer Walkers Garage Ltd of Northallerton to first owner Mr S J Chick. Two further keepers have truly cherished the car, the last owner having purchased it in November 2011 for the sum of £32,500. An invoice relating to the purchase from Hollybrook Sports Cars Ltd is included in the comprehensive history file, which further incorporates all original handbooks, service booklets and aftercare guides in the original Lancia plastic wallet. The Lancia wallet contains the business cards of the representatives at time of purchase. The service booklet includes numerous main dealer stamps from the first in September 1993 at 83 miles to the last in February 2013 at 24,496 miles. Previous MOT certificates and a huge file of invoices, leave in no doubt the genuine 25,112 miles covered. The vital timing belt change is documented in July 2011 at 21,056 miles. Guaranteed to ignite the senses, this remarkable example is not to be missed.
