A superb original example in Royal Blue with black soft top and tonneau and its original Burgundy leather trim. Fully restored and refurbished by its enthusiastic owner over a number of years with much work completed since 2008. Last owner for 45 years.

The Messerschmitt KR200 known in Germany as ‘Schneewittchensarg’ or Snow Whites Coffin.

The vehicle was restored (major items listed) over a number of years:
King pins, wheel bearings – front and rear, brake cables – front, shock absorbers – front and rear, rear engine mountings, complete wiring harness, replacement starter motor brushes, points, carburettor needles and gaskets, exhaust gasket, final drive chain, fuel tap, fuel line with extra filter, foot pedal mechanism removed, cleaned and checked, strip down of engine and re-build including renewal of – clutch drive chain, clutch bearing, clutch plates, gears and linkage checked and parts replaced where necessary. Body professionally re-sprayed in Royal Blue XSC937 with high standard cellulose original finish. External trim – both aluminium and rubber. Internal trim – except seats which remain original.

This wonderfully original piece of automotive history has been in the same UK ownership since March 1968, it is in excellent fettled condition throughout and is looking for its next custodian to keep and preserve it as well as the previous owner has.

Supplied with Red V5 registration document, original buff log book, original (well thumbed work shop manual and owner’s manuals). Siba dynastart original document, original sales brochure, as UK supplied, original road test report, original instruction sheet for cabriolet hood, 3 original detailed wiring diagrams, recent parts invoices for more recent restoration and refurbishment. Road tax until 30.11.214 – free, no MOT required.

There is an excellent, supportive and enthusiastic owners club, with advise and parts available, this is a rare find today which such excellent provenance. A wonderful machine to invest in and enjoy.
