Sellers original description:

Hustler 6 Wheeled Pickup!!

Looks like something from James Bond's Moonraker or Thunderbirds!

Only 990 miles from new & 12 months mot!!!

This is a factory manufactured hustler 6 pickup! (not a nasty little home made kit!)

It also happens to be the first off the production line making it a serious investment! The chassis number of this car is "smc01" which is how we can prove it was the first one ever made!!

It has been dry stored for many years but still taken out for short bursts to keep it in full working order. I have just put a Brand new MOT and service on it and drives beautifully!!

First registered in 1984, this car has a 998cc Mini Engine and running gear and the body is made up mostly of fibre glass and a metal frame. History Supplied with car including the Certificate from it's last MOT all the way back in 1992 that shows only 800 odd miles on the clock! Luckily the 18 years between now and then have been very kind to this awesome quirky vehicle as it was regularly driven around the grounds of the estate of the Doctor who owned it from 1990 until now! This has meant that this car has always been looked after and maintained by someone that really cared for it and as a result, you have a very reliable little vehicle!! An awesome promotional vehicle for a business!!

The Hustler was a car designed in 1978 by William Towns.

The original version used upper and lower square-section steel frames, clad with glass fiber panels and large flat glass windows. On most models sliding side windows acted as doors. It used the front and rear sub frames and mechanical components from the British LayLand Mini, Metro or BMC1100/1300. The Hustler came in four and six wheel versions: the six wheel version used two Mini rear sub frame assemblies. The style was very much off-road/utility in the rectilinear idiom of the Lagonda and Bulldog.

The car has had a load of brand new wiring, lights, battery, oil filter, hand brake cable etc etc. All 6 tyres are in great condition as are the nice alloy wheels!

There is a set of covers with the car, however these are not in great condition but would act as a good template to have a new set made but personally if I was going to do something with it, I'd have the sides done in Perspex which is how a lot of them are.

This is an incredibly rare piece of motor car history.
