Only 40,000 miles!!

History:

This car was purchased new by Dow Scandia Holdings Ltd, who are a top name in Banking and Insurance for one of their Directors. When he retired from the company he took the Rover with him.

The car has always been garaged and in terms of servicing, I've never seen anything like it....this car has been maintained meticulously by Main Dealer Agents, and for the most part by the same company, ie Mann Egerton who were also the supplying dealer (the car comes with its original Sales Invoice). When they changed from being a Rover Dealer to Peugeot, the owner then started to take the car to Epsom Motor Company who were a MG/Rover Main Dealer and they have continued to look after the car ever since.

Despite the car covering very low mileage, the car has continued to be serviced and inspected on an annual basis and was last into Epsoms earlier this year when it had a new fuel pump fitted along with Points and a Condenser.

This Rover SK1 2600 Vanden Plas Auto also comes with every single old MOT slip (23 of them) and the original Handbook and Wallet and 2 sets of keys.

The current MOT on the car runs to August of next year and tax runs to Jan 2011

Condition & specification:

The car is Monza Red and comes with an Osprey Grey Velour Interior and Burr Walnut Inlays

The engine is the 2.6 straight six petrol, driving through an automatic gearbox

Specification wise the car comes with Electric Sunroof, Electric Windows+ Mirrors, Central Locking, Alloy Wheels, Front Foglights, Stereo, Electric Aerial,

The bodywork is in superb condition with original paintwork and there is not a single spot of rust on the bodywork. The only marks to be seen is some very slight scuffing to the front bumper stops on one side, as this is where it once nudged up against the side of the garage that it was kept in.

The interior is in equally as good condition, with no damage to the fabric interior and no damage to the wood inlays or scratching to the plastic trim.

Electric windows and Sunroof glide open and shut. The car also has the onboard computer and as per many SD1's its seems to have a mind of its own.

On the road, it really does excel and you have to keep reminding you that this is a 26 year old car....there is not a squeak, rattle or clunk from the suspension and its about as close as you can get to having the experience of driving a new SD1...quite remarkable.

The engine is nice and crisp and the autobox is quite and shifts smoothly into all gears. On the motorway it will just waft along and in traffic you never have to worry about engine temperature. Oil pressure is equally as good and will sit at @ 65-70 on the move.

Tyres are virtually brand new and the exhaust system is again in as new condition.
