Sellers original description:

Quite possibly the best, lowest mileage Saab 9000 available!

Just 10700 miles!!

The 2nd of September 1994 was an exiting day for Mr & Mrs Nottage as they were going from there small holding in there home village, to a Saab dealer in the next village to collect their brand new car….the Saab 9000 CSE.

It was never their intention to use the car often as Mr Nottage had his own Rover…and his tractor to be getting about in so the plan was to use the Saab for special occasions.

This proved to be the case as the Saab was kept in a purpose built extension to their barn and as this was down a long track and as Mr and Mrs Nottage were advancing in years, it was never used in winter as they didn’t want to risk it getting stuck!

Despite the minimal mileage, Mr Nottage changed the oil regularly and returned it to the supplying dealer every year for the anti-corrosion inspection, stamped in the book and showing only 4466 miles in August 1999!

Sadly, in December 2012, Mr Nottage passed away.

Ownership then passed to Mrs Nottage and in May 2013 she decided to move 100 yards further into the village and give up her small holding. This meant leaving the car on the driveway of her new home, something she was not pleased about…so she kept it in the garage of the smallholding until very recently.

In order to make her exit on her new drive easier, she had the entrance widened but, after a minor scrape (see pic) she decided that the time has come to buy something smaller.

She has returned to the same dealer (no longer Saab) and has placed her order for a new Suzuki.

I am selling this car on her behalf.

M780 DBD was first registered on the 30th Aug 1994 and was supplied and registered to Mr Nottage 3 days later on the 2nd sep with 15 miles showing on the clock.

As stated previously, the service book is stamped in the anti-corrosion section in August every year for the next 5 years. Due to the extremely low mileage and the regular oil changes by Mr Nottage, the dealer gave the car a courtesy look over and returned it. Mrs Nottage states that any work that may have been required would, of course, have been done by the dealer but she doesn’t recall there ever being the need!

In April 2014, with the anticipation of a good summer and the car being back in use, Mrs Nottage instructed the garage to collect the car and give it a service. The garage noted a loss of power and diagnosed a blocked exhaust. This was replaced as was the oil and filter and delivered back with 10514 miles. The car has travelled just 200 miles since.

It’s important to note that the car has not been professionally cleaned and /or valeted for sale, it hasn’t even been polished! With a little time and elbow grease this really could be a concourse contender.
As you can see, the bodywork is in superb condition with no dents down the metalwork and only minor scuffs on the bumper ends (as mentioned earlier). The car would respond extremely well to a good polish and there is some minor surface ‘rubs’ on the front bonnet, impossible to pick up in a picture, that could be removed with a good polish.

The interior is like new….the seats were always covered to prevent them from getting dirty, mats were on the carpet and the backseat has never been sat in.

The spare and toolkit have also never been used.

The wheels are unmarked.

On the road, this car drives like an absolute dream and everything works…including the heated seats.

What you get…..

V5C ‘green slip’ plus a colour copy of the original showing Mr Nottage as the previous owner and Mrs Nottage as the current one.

Receipt for service/exhaust showing mileage dated 26/04/2013

The bottle of Saab Champagne presented on collection, unopened! (surely a collectors item in itself)

The colour is called 'Eucolyptus Green'
