Sellers original description:

I can hardly type the words for the tears!! This has to go due to work abroad and hardly any time to use it these days :0(

So where to start...

This is a GENUINE GT and not a copy or wanna' be GT. There are a few ST versions of the RA28 with a GT badge acting as if they are genuine and that's about as GT as some of them get. This is real and has GT on the V5 Document along with the usual tell-tale signs such as the silver/grey dash panel, red lining where it should on the RPM counter markings and the engine is obviously a GT lump.

You can run this on unleaded with no additives at all and no problems. It roars along the streets in search of attention which it attracts at every stretch of every mile. If you are not the type of person that enjoys random people saying "nice car mate" or wouldn't like having smart phones and cameras always pointing at you or it when parked then she's not the one for you!

I have owned this beautiful example of Japanese motoring history for many years and before me there were only three others so she was in very good condition when I found her. She is a non-smoker (clean engine and no oil burning) and not much of a drinker (surprisingly good on fuel).

Mechanically the car is perfect and each MOT has been no problem every single time since ownership. No advisories or worries there. The gearbox is good and it drives in a nice straight line even when applying the brakes. It may be a 1976 manufactured engine but it does still pull and can keep up with most modern performance cars. I am a mature driver so no boy racing for me, good to know if you are interested in this car. I also don't smoke or allow smoking so the interior is fresh (although it does have the old car smell which is nice).

The alloys are period and original 1977 Wolfrace slots. These have been fully restored and were diamond cut and lacquered so no need to polish as they always shine. The tyres are good and the tread will not be an issue on the next MOT.

I have hardly driven her this year due to work in the Middle East and previous to this I rarely took it out, again due to my work commitments. She sits in a warm garage and NEVER goes out in any damp or wet weather. It's off the road between early October and late March to avoid the rock salt.

There is not a spot of rust anywhere on this car and two years ago it was completely taken apart and restored with a full bare metal respray covering every inch of the entire vehicle (engine out too). This gorgeous metallic green (the images don't demonstrate just how nice this colour looks when your own eyes are seeing it glow!) is just amazing to see. I spent around £10K to get it to this condition and all parts were new and genuine Toyota so no expense spared.

I have all images and a video of the restoration project and a complete start to finish image library of the project detailing just about every possible part of the work. It was in Blaze Blue from the factory but I like green so green it had to be.

The insurance is around £155 per year for me and I have an agreed value of £20,000.00 on the Certificate.

The stripes were designed by myself using Photoshop and then applied using the best materials out there. The black is matte-finish and really sets off the green, especially with the red GT lettering. These can be removed if necessary and without damaging the paint but I love the way they make the car look, definitely a body line changer. The interior is black and a leather-look but really all the seats out of the factory were vinyl.

The steering wheel is a Momo Prototipo and just a month old but I have the original with the car, very good condition. There are also some spares but rather than list a long winded information pack I would rather discuss more about that on the phone; my number is included at the bottom of this description.

This car has been pampered and like the Ferris Bueller's Day Off Ferrari it gets treated in the same way (Almost OCD level of care).

Apart from the steering wheel and paint colour with stripes shes all original.

I've no doubt left a few points out of this listing but if you do have any questions please feel welcome to call me. I am not far from Stonehenge Monument near Salisbury so just of the M3 to the A303 and you're almost there. Viewing is advised but any test drives will only be allowed if I know you are not a joker and a time waster. I will not let anyone drive if no proof of license and ID must be provided (you'll also have me as co-driver!).

This is a very rare opportunity to own a car that will increase in value as time goes on. Money sitting in a bank will not accumulate the interest that this car will if being used and enjoyed. What can the money in the bank do for your weekends of fun posing in this beauty!??

Win this and drive away with a massive smile on your face, every time you take her on the road or even when you sneak a look through the garage door!!
