1966 Vauxhall Viva Ha 90 Deluxe - Fully Restored - Stunning!!

This Vauxhall Viva 90 Deluxe Has Been The Subject Of A Major Body & Interior Restoration Which Was Completed 5 Years Ago.

The Car Had Some Welding Underneath Already Done At An Earlier Stage Of Its' Life, The Sealant From These, And The Welding Were Professionally Inspected And Replaced Where It Was Felt Necessary.

Any Further Rust Found During The Restoration Was Cut From The Shell And Replaced With New Metal, Professionally Seam Welded As Required , Then Fully Sealed & Weatherproofed.

At This Stage Both Front Wings Were Replaced And Both Sills Renewed.

This Has Proved To Be An Expensive Restoration, Done Professionally - Not Bodged, And The Car Is Solid With No Further Welding Required Anywhere On The Shell.

The Car Was Then Primed Using 4 Coats Of 2k High Build Primer, Before Being Flattened And Given 4 Coats Of Vauxhall Pacific Blue 2k Paint, Which Is The Original Colour For This Vehicle.

Although Part-time Now, We Are A Team Of 5 Vehicle Restorers, With Over 200 Years Experience Working On Vehicles From 1930's To Present.

The Interior Of The Car Is Totally Original, And Immaculate. The Seats Have Been Re-built Using Original Old Stock Factory Material, The Door Panels Are Perfect And The Headlining Has Also Been Re-newed.

Carpets Have Also Been Replaced, And The Car Must Be Very Close To Concours Inside.

Mechanically, Both The Engine And Gearbox Have Been Stripped And Inspected, Synchro Rings In The Box Changed. Enginewise She Has Been De-coked, Honed And Had New Rings Fitted And The Oil Pump Was Replaced As A Future Safety Insurance.

The Car Has Recently Been Re-commissioned, And Fully Serviced Using All New Parts, And Has Been Road Tested By My Mechanic And Runs Fine, And Although It Has Only Done A Few Test Miles He Feels Confident It Is Capable Of Being Driven At A Sensible Pace Anywhere In The U.k.

The Car Does Qualify For Free Road Tax, Although It Is Currently On Sorn.

It Was Mot'd On 1/6/13, So Is Tested Until June 2014. The Viva Passed The Test With No Advisories Given, Which It Should Have, Because Although Nearly 50 Years Old, It Has Only Done 36k Mile In That Time.

The Following Parts Have Been Replaced/renewed During This Restoration :

1 ) Full Interior Including; Seats, Door Panels, Carpets & Headlining.

2 ) All Chrome On The Car Either Re-newed Or Re-chromed.
