1989 Vauxhall Cavalier Mk3 2.0i SRI Hatchback
(Featured on 26th May 2013)
Registration: F580 TMD
Sellers original description:
The car was only used for the first 10 months of its life then due to the owner having a stroke it was laid up in a warm integral garage until 2011. It was then fully recommissioned by a Vauxhall garage at a cost of £1200, I have the invoice. The tyres were replaced because of there age, I still have them and they look brand new, even the original brake pads are only 20% worn.
The car has been professionally polished and detailed and is pristine in every way, not even a bit of touch up paint, she is taxed & tested and I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywere. Without doubt a show winner if thats your interest. I have all the service books manuals and 2 keys. Even a stick on RAC badge that must have came with the package.
In 2001 there were 40,000 SRis on the road, in 2011 there were only 345, these cars are now coming onto the classic car scene and people are realising how scarce the SRI is. In my mind a real investment.
