Make: MG
Model: MGB
Year: 1979

Sellers original description:

Stunning 1979 MGB GT finished in this very rare MG White. Service history is fully documented and stamped. The original invoice of sale is also present from Tanners Motors Fulham (South London) in March 1979 and immediately shipped over to West Germany. The first owner was an Army officer.

The MGB lived in West Germany until 1985 when the owner moved back to the U.K and then sold by Montroe Motors, Buckhurst Hill Essex and remained local ever since.

Fully professionally restored in 1997 (invoice included) this MGB was awarded the Queen Victoria Concours car of the year in 1999 and 2005. There is a large ring binder full of every document and receipt ever spent plus all M.O.T's since 1985, the mileage is well documented since new. Passed the last M.O.T with no advisories.

The car is still in fantastic condition, mechanics and electrics in full working order and NO RUST (no surface rust either!). The underside and sills are in excellent condition, the boot area still looks new. This MGB has clearly been cherished since new always garaged and never driven in rain. UNLEADED PETROL CONVERTED.

Overdrive fully working in 3rd and 4th gears. There is a Kenlowe electric fan fitted and best of all features a Stainless Steel double exhaust pipe - sounds great!

Driving this MGB GT is great fun and gets attention wherever she goes. Very comfortable drive with a real sports feel and sharp handling. The MGB GT is a worldwide iconic classic sports car cheap to insure with parts easy to obtain.

I have a British Heritage certificate showing original build specification stating assembly was at MG Abingdon between 22-23rd February 1979, registered the following month and then exported to Germany. There is even the German V.I.N plate inside on the chassis and still has the original engine. XOK 939T is the registration from new.

M.O.T to April 2014 and Tax to March 2014. There is also a Panasonic Radio/CD player included.
