(Featured on 31st March 2011)

Make: Jaguar
Model: XJ6
Year: 1977
Registration: SAN 852S

Sellers original description:

One of just 6,505 4.2-litre Coupes built, this stunning 1977 automatic-transmission example was sold new via Julian's of Reading Ltd to its sole former owner, one F J Fullbrook of Goring-on-Thames. Last changing hands in 2001 to a Titled Gentleman, at which time the recorded mileage total stood at a little over 16,000 miles.

Included in the history file is the original 'supercover' Handbook Portfolio containing the service book with 21 official Jaguar dealer service stamps, and numerous mot's. The original 'Supercover' sticker is still in the windscreen along with the original Envirogarde body protection sticker in the rear screen. The car also wears its original dealer supplying plates with Julians of Reading advertised, and comes with its original 2 sets of keys, tools, handbook, service record and dust cover.

'Timewarp condition' is a much abused term in classic car circles, but this car fully justifies the term and must surely be one of the finest original low mileage examples you could ever wish to find.

The condition of the car is amazing after decades of careful use, the body is razor straight with no corrosion what so ever and the paint is as bright as the day it left the factory. Recently fitted with a new stainless steel exhaust system and new Vredestein Classic tyres. Drives as Jaguar intended.

If thinking Jaguar Coupe this has to be the car, I dont think an opportunity like this will ever come up again for such an immaculate low mileage genuine unrestored Jaguar XJ6.
